Brittany Danielle, the makeup artist for White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, has revealed she has received "death threats" and faced severe criticism for her work with the Trump administration. Danielle, who also works with Lara Trump and other figures in the administration, described the backlash in a recent interview.

Danielle explained that the criticism often extends beyond her professional role, targeting the politicians she works with. "People were like, 'I pray every day that you go to hell,'" she told IW Features, recalling the intensity of the threats. To manage the situation, she made her social media accounts private and has largely ignored the negative attention.

"The criticism that comes with working with a politician, it's harsh," Danielle stated. "A lot of times they're attacking not the makeup artist, but they're attacking the politician, and you just happen to get wrapped up in it."

Danielle met Leavitt while working at Fox News, where she was the only makeup artist available for a last-minute booking. Leavitt later reached out to Danielle, and they have worked together since. Danielle expressed that her role involves helping Leavitt "look beautiful and feel really good," noting Leavitt's intense work ethic.

Their professional relationship has also developed into a friendship. Danielle assisted in planning Leavitt's baby shower in March, shortly before Leavitt welcomed her second child in May. Danielle also provided makeup services for Leavitt's return to the press briefing podium on July 16, following maternity leave. For that appearance, Leavitt wore a powder pink suit, which Danielle suggested might be a nod to her daughter.

Danielle also shared that observing the behind-the-scenes work in the White House has given her a new perspective and "new love" for America. She noted that seeing individuals working tirelessly for what they believe is best for the country has changed her mindset, regardless of political viewpoints.
