MAGA Influencer Cries After Removal from Ken Paxton Event
TikTok personality claims she was escorted out of a Texas Senate hopeful's rally without explanation.
A social media influencer who has publicly supported Donald Trump and Republican candidates was brought to tears after being removed from a campaign event for Texas Senate hopeful Ken Paxton. The influencer, known as Thelma Louise on TikTok, documented the incident on Sunday in San Antonio, expressing disbelief and questioning why she was asked to leave a rally for a GOP candidate she has consistently championed.
Louise, who has over 204,000 followers, shared videos showing her being escorted out of the venue. In her posts, she stated that she had driven two hours to attend the event and had done nothing wrong. She also claimed that she had not received any explanation from Paxton's campaign regarding her removal. "I can’t believe I was treated like this… They were even told not to allow me back inside," she wrote in one caption.
Louise has frequently posted content celebrating the MAGA movement and has documented her attendance at various Republican gatherings, including the Republican midterm convention. She stated that she switched from the Democratic Party two years ago and has volunteered for Trump's 2024 presidential campaign. She also pointed out that she had previously received press credentials for events attended by Paxton, such as the Texas Youth Summit.
The incident has led to speculation online, with some social media users questioning if her race played a role in her removal. Democratic strategist Ameshia Cross commented, 'Being MAGA while Black chapter 293.'
Paxton, the current Texas attorney general, is seeking the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate in a contest that has drawn significant attention within the state's Republican Party. A recent poll indicated that the Democratic candidate, state representative Julie Talarico, held a narrow lead over Paxton. The Daily Mail has reached out to Ken Paxton for comment.
