Reality television personality Martha Kalifatidis has shared a list of ten parenting rules that she has chosen not to enforce, a post that has garnered significant praise from her followers for its relatability.

Kalifatidis, 38, posted the unconventional list on Instagram, detailing rules she once believed she would adhere to as a mother but has since abandoned. Among the broken rules are allowing her three-year-old son, Lucius, to "put sauce on everything" and to "have tantrums in public."

Further admissions include letting Lucius play with plastic toys instead of exclusively wooden ones, allowing him to choose his own outfits daily, eating in bed, consuming sugar, and purchasing a new toy every time they visit a shop. Kalifatidis also permits her son to eat in front of a screen and to "touch every surface" without concern for germs.

The influencer's post resonated with many parents, who flooded the comments section with supportive messages. Phrases like "so relatable" and "the joys of motherhood" appeared frequently, with some followers noting that their own parenting approaches evolved after having children.

One commenter remarked, "100%. No one should judge until they have kids and never say never lol." Another shared, "These were exactly my rules once upon a time as well. The more kids, the less you give a f**k."

The 38-year-old posted the list on Instagram this week, starting with allowing her three-year-old son, Lucius, to have tantrums in public

Kalifatidis shares Lucius with her fiancé Michael Brunelli, 35. The couple, who met on Married at First Sight in 2019, also have a daughter named Sunday, born in March of this year. They became engaged two years after meeting but have not yet married.

This is not the first time Kalifatidis has addressed public commentary on her parenting. Earlier this year, she responded to criticism after a sponsored TikTok video showed her losing her temper with her toddler. She later posted another video mocking what she called "perfect parents" who judged her online.
