Married At First Sight participant Gia Fleur and her partner Alan Wallace are planning a modest beach wedding ceremony. Fleur, 36, stated that the couple intends to welcome their baby girl before becoming engaged, with marriage to follow soon after Wallace, also 36, proposes.

The ceremony is planned to be a low-key beach event near Wallace's family holiday home in Sorrento, on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Fleur explained that the location holds personal significance for them, having been where their relationship began and a place they frequently visit with his family. She indicated that the guest list will be limited to close friends and family.

Fleur described her experience on the show as having led to several difficult cast feuds. She claimed that some co-stars she felt close to during filming distanced themselves once public opinion shifted or following the show's edits. "All the ones that are your best friends during the experience all just drop you when the edits come out and the TikToks start happening," Fleur said. "They jump onto whoever is popular, the flavour of the week."

She mentioned maintaining contact with a few individuals from the show, including Juliette and Mel, stating a preference for having a small circle of trusted friends over many insincere ones. Fleur also addressed a past conflict with former co-star Bec Zacharia, indicating she had attempted to move past their public disagreements after hearing Zacharia speak positively about her pregnancy.

Fleur recounted reaching out to Zacharia with a message aiming to end their public disputes, but noted that the attempted reconciliation did not lead to a reunion, as Zacharia declined an invitation for a joint podcast interview. Fleur stated she encountered Zacharia at a birthday party but was not interested in reigniting any conflict, citing her pregnancy as a reason for avoiding arguments.

Regarding the couple's relationship origin, Wallace revealed that their romance began with a kiss at a party after weeks of private communication, initiated when Fleur pulled him into a men's restroom. Wallace first spoke to Fleur while she was still filming MAFS, after receiving a FaceTime call from a mutual friend. Fleur and fellow bride Bec Zacharia were at a pub at the time and discussing their on-screen husbands. Fleur had wanted to ask Wallace about a former flame connected to her MAFS match, Scott McCristal.

Wallace admitted that their early interactions were challenging as Fleur adjusted to life post-filming. He stated they "butted heads a bit" and were not initially on the same page. The dynamic shifted after Fleur returned from the Gold Coast, and they decided to stop discussing MAFS, focusing instead on their everyday lives. Wallace deliberately avoided watching Fleur's season of the show, fearing it would negatively influence his perception of her.

Fleur is pregnant with the couple's first child together, a girl, which will be her second child. The pregnancy was not planned, but the couple had already discussed wanting a child and a committed relationship. They have chosen a name for their daughter that begins with the letter 'A'. Fleur's 10-year-old daughter, Willa, was the first to be told about the pregnancy and is reportedly excited to have a sister.

Fleur described her pregnancy symptoms as different from her first, leading them to be surprised by the news of expecting a girl. She also discussed the significant online abuse she received after the show aired, which impacted her confidence and self-perception. Both she and Wallace stepped away from social media for a period due to the intensity of the criticism.

Reflecting on her time on MAFS, Fleur expressed regret for her past behavior towards other female contestants, calling the filming environment "toxic" and "isolating." She alleged that contestants were subjected to restrictive conditions, including limitations on communication and freedoms, which she felt negatively impacted her conduct. Fleur claimed she repeatedly sought to leave the experiment but was persuaded by production to stay.

Despite her experiences, Fleur is open to returning to reality television, mentioning potential appearances on shows like The Traitors or The Block with Wallace. She also revealed she recorded a pilot for a new podcast. The couple stated their immediate priority is the health of Fleur and their unborn baby before finalizing engagement plans, emphasizing they are taking things one step at a time.

Fleur stated that she would still go through the MAFS experience again, as it ultimately led her to Wallace and their child, expressing gratitude for being on the other side of the experience.
