Gemma Rose Barnes, a participant on Married at First Sight UK, has been admitted to the hospital after her waters broke prematurely. Barnes, 31, is expecting her second child, a boy, with her husband Jordan Bishop. The couple are already parents to a two-year-old son, Franklin.

Barnes shared updates on social media, indicating she underwent tests to assess the situation and determine a plan for the remainder of her pregnancy. She expressed hope that the baby could remain in utero until at least 37 weeks, with close monitoring.

Barnes also has two older sons, Ozzy and Cash, from a previous relationship. She married Jordan Bishop in Las Vegas in December 2025.

Previously, Barnes appeared on Married at First Sight in 2022, where she was paired with Matt Murray. Following her appearance on the show, she has spoken publicly about her struggles with addiction, including cocaine use, and periods of homelessness. She has since undergone recovery and gastric sleeve surgery.

She captioned the post: 'We have had a few hospital visits this month. And to top it all off my waters have completely gone again'
