Madison Beer made her first red carpet appearance as a fiancée on Wednesday, debuting her engagement ring from Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert at Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood party.

The ring features an elongated cushion-cut solitaire diamond, estimated by experts to be between 10 and 15 carats. Jewelry designers have valued the sparkler between $700,000 and $1.2 million.

Beer, 27, and Herbert, 28, announced their engagement last Tuesday, nearly a year after they began dating. Herbert proposed at sunset in a grassy field.

For the event at The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles, Beer wore a pistachio green ruched chiffon mini dress by Geyanna Youness, accessorized with Jimmy Choo slingback sandals. She kept her left hand, adorned with the engagement ring, free of other jewelry, opting instead for stacked gold and silver rings on her right pinky and layered bracelets on her wrist.

The singer’s new ring joins a trend of elongated engagement rings worn by celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Zoë Kravitz, and Selena Gomez. Jewelry designer Logan Hollowell noted that the elongated cushion cut offers a rarer alternative to traditional cushion cuts, creating a more graceful and finger-lengthening effect.

Olivia Landau, founder of The Clear Cut, described the ring's design as a modern twist on the classic solitaire, highlighting the compass prong setting for its uniqueness.

Sources close to the couple indicated that the engagement was not entirely unexpected, as their relationship was progressing in that direction. Beer and Herbert first sparked dating rumors in August 2025, confirming their relationship with public displays of affection at a Chargers game in October of the same year.

Prior to her engagement to Herbert, Beer was previously linked to influencer Nick Austin from 2020 until mid-2025, and before that, she was romantically involved with musician Jack Gilinsky, Brooklyn Beckham, and record producer Zack Bia.
