Machine Gun Kelly Denies Rumors He 'Fumbled' Megan Fox
The musician addressed a viral social media post while facing speculation about a new romance with Dakota Johnson.
Machine Gun Kelly has dismissed a viral social media post that claimed he "fumbled" his ex-fiancée, Megan Fox. The musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the post, which featured provocative photos of Fox and alleged statements from Kelly expressing regret over their breakup.
"That tweet is faker than a pair of tits," Kelly wrote on Tuesday in response to the post, which had been shared the previous day. The original post included sultry images of Fox in lingerie alongside a picture of the former couple, accompanied by screenshots of alleged messages from Kelly. One purported message read, "I wanted to throw my phone into a fucking wall" after seeing the photos, adding, "I fumbled the girl of my dreams."
Kelly and Fox, who met on the set of the film Midnight In The Switchgrass, became engaged in 2022. Their relationship reportedly hit a rough patch in 2023, but they were seen together on a trip to Mexico in March 2024. According to reports, the couple officially ended their engagement while Fox was pregnant with their daughter, Saga Blade, who was born in March 2025.
Sources have indicated that Kelly and Fox are now focused on co-parenting their daughter. A source told Us Weekly in September that the two "are done and only communicate about their daughter and co-parenting logistics," acknowledging their "toxic tendencies" and stating that this arrangement is "much better this way." Despite the breakup, the insider added that Kelly "will always love Megan and have a soft spot for her," though he "gave up pursuing a romantic relationship with her several months ago."
Another source told People in January that the pair's relationship is primarily about co-parenting, with Fox prioritizing her children and her newborn daughter. This source noted that Kelly has been supportive and that spending time together as a family has brought them closer.
This response comes as Kelly faces speculation about a new romance with actress Dakota Johnson. The two first fueled rumors in September when they were seen visiting Taylor Swift's apartment in New York City. According to reports at the time, Johnson arrived first, followed by Kelly approximately 30 minutes later. DeuxMoi reported that Kelly was escorted by Johnson's security and that the pair later went to a nearby hotel and stayed overnight. TMZ reported that Swift was out of town during this time. Johnson and Kelly are said to have first crossed paths at Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce in July.
