Lynda Goodfriend, who gained recognition playing Lori Beth Cunningham, the girlfriend and eventual wife of Richie Cunningham on the 1970s sitcom "Happy Days," has swapped the television set for the lecture hall. Now 72, Goodfriend is an acting teacher at the New York Film Academy's Burbank campus.

Goodfriend was recently seen in her Los Angeles neighborhood, appearing fit and healthy. She was photographed on a walk before changing into a casual ensemble that included a crisp white shirt, jeans with distinctive patches, a black leather belt, and sneakers. She accessorized with pearls and a blue backpack.

Her character, Lori Beth Cunningham, was a fixture on "Happy Days" from 1977 until the show's final season in 1984. Prior to her role on the iconic sitcom, Goodfriend studied drama at Southern Methodist University. Her first television role was in 1977 on the sitcom "Blansky's Beauties," alongside Scott Baio. The actress joined the cast in 1977 alongside her Blanksy's Beauties co-star Scott Baio (pictured with the Happy Days cast in 1981)

Goodfriend also appeared on "Who's Watching the Kids?" and made guest appearances on "The Love Boat" and "Fantasy Island." She had minor roles in films such as "Pretty Woman" and "Beaches."

According to a 2017 interview, Goodfriend's transition into teaching was inspired by her earlier career in talent management. She founded the Actors Workout School and the Actors Workout Theater before joining the New York Film Academy in 2006. She became the LA Chair of Acting for Film in 2011. These days, Goodfriend helps aspiring actors pursue their own Hollywood dreams at the New York Film Academy's Burbank campus

Reflecting on her career, Goodfriend has stated that her time on "Happy Days" was her favorite project. She also recalled a positive experience touring with the Broadway production "Good News" alongside Alice Faye.
