Lynda Carter, the actress famed for her role as Wonder Woman, recently shared a peek at her appearance in the upcoming film "Super Troopers 3," set to be released on August 7. Carter, who turned 75 on July 24, posted on Instagram this week giving fans a look at her role as Governor Jessman in the comedy franchise.

She shared images from the set, including one where she is seen relaxing in a bathtub near a lake, a martini beside her. In another photo, Carter smiled alongside co-star Brian Cox, both wearing matching gray robes. She also posted a picture with castmate and director Jay Chandrasekhar and other crew members. Carter captioned the post, "@supertroopers Ride Again!!!! Follow them and us (returning cast) For a fantastic road romp!!" She humorously added, "But….wait for it…the last scene! I'm naked in a bathtub???? Oh noooo, @jaychandrasekhar you promised not to show that! Super Troopers 3, only in theaters August 7th!!"

Carter's recent public appearances have drawn attention for her youthful appearance. Fans on social media have expressed admiration, with comments like "My God, is she getting younger?!" and "Still absolutely gorgeous." One fan noted, "I truly thought this was a still from a Wonder Woman episode. Lynda is timeless."

Previously crowned Miss World USA in 1972, Carter took on the iconic role of Wonder Woman in the television series that aired from 1975 to 1979. She has also appeared in other projects, including the series "Supergirl" and the 2005 film "Sky High." Carter also had a cameo in the 2020 film "Wonder Woman 1984."

In a 2024 interview with People, Carter discussed her views on aging, stating, "People still recognize me all the time as Wonder Woman. I don't know that I've changed too dramatically." She also revealed that she has not undergone facial surgery, explaining, "I don't cut my face, so I probably look just myself, but older. And the reason I've never had any facial surgery is just because I'm afraid. It's scary, because we've all seen some bad ones."

Carter, a mother of two, reflected on her career beginnings, telling People that when she was cast as Wonder Woman, she had "literally $25 in my checking account." She had been working as a singer since high school and had run out of money.

Reflecting on the character of Wonder Woman for Harper's Bazaar Vietnam, Carter emphasized the character's qualities: "There is something about the goodness, kindness, and humanity of Wonder Woman. But her strength! That she cannot be victimized is one of the greatest strengths. She does not victimize others; she protects. Her superpowers are those that are not on the aggressive side - she is the protector."

She added, "And I think that, as women, we understand that strength - the juggling of 10,000 things at once that we do, and still have that fierce "mama bear" that comes through at times."
