Lydia Bright has announced that her new boyfriend is moving into her home, a significant development in her relationship that comes after her ex, Ben Davies, began dating Little Mix member Jesy Nelson. Bright shared the news via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, posting a picture of a bedroom with the caption, "Making room for someone special..."

Bright, 35, explained that this month has been particularly special for one major reason, a part of her life she had been keeping private but now feels ready to share. She stated that she had considered announcing the relationship earlier over the summer but felt the timing was not right. "As life moves forward and this little chapter becomes a bigger part of my world, it feels like the right time to let you in," she wrote. She humorously added that clearing out an entire wardrobe for her new partner is a "BIG deal" for her.

She described her new boyfriend as someone who has brought "so much happiness" into her life and has reminded her "just how lovely it is to fall in love." Earlier in October, Bright responded to a fan's question about her dating status on Instagram with a vague "Maybe…" while sharing a picture of a bouquet of flowers.

Bright and Davies confirmed their split in January 2025, after their relationship began in April 2024. Their romance was reportedly first confirmed by the Daily Mail after they attended one of her ex-boyfriend James Argent's gigs together. Davies has since gone public with his relationship with Nelson.

Nelson herself had recently separated from the father of her twin daughters, Zion Foster. She and Davies reportedly began following each other on Instagram over the summer, leading to Nelson's teasing social media post. Nelson and Foster's twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, were diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1 earlier in 2026. Foster had addressed accusations of abandoning his daughters in July, stating on an Amazon Prime series that he was "not equipped to deal with this" and felt "out of my depth." Nelson and Foster announced their separation later that month, with Nelson commenting on the show, "It's hard. It's just me and mum now."
