Bryan Walker and Michelle Min, the husband-and-wife co-founders of the luxury women's apparel company Bryn Walker, were found shot dead outside their Oakland hillside home on Oct. 2. Oakland police confirmed the identities of the deceased to Fox News Digital.

Authorities have not confirmed the cause of death or the sequence of events. However, Min's brother, Paul Min, told the Los Angeles Times that he believes Walker fatally shot his sister before taking his own life. Police have not commented on this account and stated that the investigation is active and ongoing.

Investigators recovered a firearm at the scene. While police have not ruled out a murder-suicide scenario, they have not yet determined who fired the weapon, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Relatives reportedly revealed troubling details about the days leading up to the incident. Paul Min told the Los Angeles Times that his brother-in-law had suffered significant financial losses from risky ventures and had become increasingly troubled. Min stated that he and his sister had agreed Walker needed psychiatric help, especially after Walker allegedly suggested that the three of them "end things." Michelle Min was reportedly planning to have her husband admitted for psychiatric treatment on the day of the shooting.

Bryn Walker, founded in 1992, designs and produces its clothing in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company operates six stores and supplies approximately 1,000 boutiques nationwide. Its listed store locations include two in Berkeley and one in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts.
