Luke Bryan's Son, Bo, Commits to Play Football for Georgia
The high school quarterback, son of the country music star, announced his decision to join the Bulldogs.
Bo Bryan, son of country music star Luke Bryan, has committed to play college football for the University of Georgia. The announcement came less than a week after the quarterback received an offer from the Bulldogs.
Bryan, who also received offers from East Tennessee State, North Alabama, UT Martin, and Austin Peay, expressed his long-held desire to play for Georgia. "It meant everything to me and a dream come true when I got that offer," he told USA Today. "I always knew that if I ever got the offer, then that’s where I was going to be."
Rated as the No. 107 overall pocket passer in the 2027 class by ESPN, and No. 143 by 247Sports, Bo Bryan plays for Battle Ground Academy in Tennessee. His team won the II-AA state title in 2025. After serving as a backup, he took over as the starting quarterback this fall, passing for 2,006 yards, 30 touchdowns, and three interceptions in eight games. He sustained a season-ending injury earlier in October.
Bo Bryan has been a Georgia fan for years, mirroring his father's allegiance, and has visited the Athens campus multiple times. In an August interview with The Tennessean, he joked about his father's limited grasp of football strategy, noting that while he understood the coaches' discussions, his father often did not.
