Luke Bryan's 18-year-old son, Bo Bryan, sustained a broken collarbone during a high school football game on Friday, according to reports. Bryan, who plays quarterback for Battle Ground Academy in Tennessee, suffered the injury after being sacked during the opening drive of the game against Pope John Paul II Preparatory School.

Bo Bryan later took to Instagram to share the news with his followers, stating, "Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. We will be back."

Prior to the injury, Bo had been a key player for his team, leading them to a 6-1 record. Through seven games this season, he had thrown for 2,006 yards and 30 touchdowns with three interceptions. His coach, Bobby Bentley, acknowledged the challenge the team would face following the injury.

Luke Bryan had previously expressed pride in his son's performance and dedication to the sport. In an interview with USA Today High School Sports last month, Bryan shared his admiration for Bo's hard work and resilience in facing pressure situations in his first season as a starter. He emphasized the importance of seeing that hard work pay off and his son's love for the game.

Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, are parents to Bo and Tatum Christopher Bryan. They also raise three other children whom they took in following the death of Bryan's sister, Kelly Bryan, and her husband, Ben Lee Cheshire.
