Luisa Zissman's daughter, Dixie, 16, humorously addressed her mother's perceived attractiveness in a recent social media video. The clip, shared by Zissman on Instagram, shows Dixie preparing for a night out.

In the video, Dixie is seen posing for photos, with text overlaying the clip stating, "When I think I look hot but then my mum walks in." The video then transitions to Zissman, 39, walking down a street in a floral dress and heels. Zissman captioned the post, "Dixie made this. My beautiful girl," and noted that her daughter had suggested making the video together.

Dixie is Zissman's eldest daughter, with the TV personality also being mother to Esme, 10, and Clemmie, nine. Zissman rose to public attention during her participation in the ninth series of the British reality television show "The Apprentice" in 2013, where she finished as the runner-up.

Controversy Over School Play Absence

Earlier, Zissman faced criticism for remarks made on her podcast, "LuAnna," co-hosted with Anna Williamson. She stated her intention to skip her younger daughter's school play, which featured a production of "Mary Poppins." Zissman cited the daughter's "non-speaking ensemble role" and the discomfort of the venue as reasons for not attending, asserting it was "not worth your time going" unless the child had a main part. She also mentioned having work commitments, including conference calls and podcast recordings.

Zissman further revealed she had previously skipped another daughter's woodwind recital due to disliking the instrument's sound. Her comments on the podcast about the school play sparked a strong reaction from other mothers online, with many arguing that attendance is important regardless of a child's role. They emphasized the significance of a parent's presence for a child's self-esteem and memory-making.

However, some social media users found Zissman's candor relatable, with comments like "I'm glad someone said this" and "You're so funny. You say what everyone else is thinking." Cara De La Hoyde, winner of the first series of "Love Island," responded with laughing emojis.

Zissman later clarified in the comments section of her Instagram post that she did attend the play for a brief period before leaving to take work calls and returned for the conclusion of the performance. Zissman is married to Andrew Collins, and they share Esme and Clemmie. Dixie is from her first marriage to Oliver Zissman.
