Luisa Zissman recently traveled to Paris with Carrie Johnson and a group of friends for a girls' weekend that included attending a Celine Dion concert. The trip also featured lavish dinners, champagne, and shopping.
During the weekend, Zissman, who co-hosts the LuAnna podcast with Anna Williamson, playfully addressed her recent controversial remarks about fast food consumption. Zissman's friends gifted her a personalized McDonald's shirt, which she modeled on a hotel balcony. Williamson captioned the photo, "She'll be chowing down on an egg McMuffin in minutes. Trust me she ruddy loves a Maccy D's! (as much as she loves getting her peachy botty out)."
Zissman's public comments about McDonald's began approximately a year ago when she criticized the consumption of fast food, stating on her podcast that eating it indicates laziness. She also expressed negative views on McDonald's breakfast items, calling them "gross." These statements drew criticism, with some labeling her comments as judgmental and coming from a place of privilege.
Despite the controversy, Zissman and Johnson, along with friends Anna Williamson and Lucie Cave, appeared to enjoy their Parisian getaway. Johnson shared on Instagram, "Well that was fun. Girls' weekends are good for the SOUL."
