Luis Enrique's Daughter Survives Fatal Crash in Spain; Olympian Scott Brash Under Investigation

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique's daughter, Sira Martinez, 26, was involved in a fatal car crash in Spain on Thursday evening that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old motorcyclist. Martinez and British Olympian Scott Brash, 40, who was reportedly driving the Audi Q3, were unharmed.

The collision occurred around 7:45 p.m. on the N-322 road near Oliva, south of Valencia. According to local reports, the driver of the car, identified as a 40-year-old "famous Scottish Olympic equestrian" with two gold medals, is under investigation by police on suspicion of manslaughter. A spokesperson for the Civil Guard in Valencia stated that the car driver is suspected of making an improper turn. The driver passed drug and alcohol tests, and the incident report has been submitted to a local court.

Martinez, a model and professional show jumper, is the daughter of Luis Enrique, who managed the Spanish national team and is currently the manager of Paris Saint-Germain. She was previously in a relationship with Spanish international footballer Ferran Torres. Luis Enrique's youngest daughter, Xana, passed away in 2019 at the age of nine after battling bone cancer. He had stepped away from coaching the Spanish national team to spend time with her during her illness and returned to the role three months after her death.

Scott Brash, born in Peebles, Scotland, won his first Olympic gold medal in equestrian jumping at the 2012 London Olympics and a second in Paris in 2024. He is also known for being the first rider to win show jumping's Rolex Grand Slam in a single year in 2015. He was made an MBE in 2013.
