Luann de Lesseps Posts Photoshopped New York Post Cover Amidst Frenemy's Real Front-Page Story
The "RHONY" alum attempted to overshadow Carole Radziwill's recent New York Post cover detailing her parking ticket infractions.
Luann de Lesseps, a prominent figure from "The Real Housewives of New York City," recently took to Instagram to share a doctored version of The New York Post's front page, seemingly an attempt to upstage her former co-star and rival, Carole Radziwill.
Radziwill had been featured on the actual Friday cover of The Post, which highlighted her accumulation of over $8,000 in parking tickets and traffic violations over four years, along with her alleged use of cones to reserve parking spots. The headline accompanying Radziwill's story read "PARK RAVING MAD."
In response, de Lesseps posted her own fabricated front page, bearing the headline: "Countess Still Serving it Up: Luann de Lesseps parties, performs, and proves she’s still the Queen of New York." The photoshopped cover featured two images of de Lesseps, one holding a martini and another performing on stage, promoting her cabaret tour. She captioned the post with "Keep on SERVIN’ 👊🏻✨."
De Lesseps and Radziwill have a well-documented history of conflict. Their falling out on "RHONY" Season 7 stemmed from Radziwill's relationship with Adam Kenworthy, who had previously dated de Lesseps' niece. This rivalry has continued for years, with de Lesseps making a jab at Radziwill's return to the show in August, suggesting Radziwill had ample free time.
Radziwill, however, appeared amused by her New York Post cover story. She shared a photo of the newspaper on Instagram, describing the experience as a "fever dream" and playfully referencing the traffic violations. She stated that she had paid all her tickets and expressed support for the Department of Sanitation, adding, "Beep, beep, bitches. 🚗🚗."
Even Andy Cohen, an executive producer for Bravo, reacted to Radziwill's prominent placement on The Post's cover. He expressed surprise in a video shared on his Instagram Story, humorously noting that in the grand scheme of world events, Radziwill's parking situation was being treated as the most important news in New York City.
