Love Island stars Molly Smith and Tom Clare have married in a lavish ceremony in Mallorca, two years after meeting on the ITV2 show.
The couple, who began dating after meeting on the All Stars version of the reality show in 2024, tied the knot on the picturesque Spanish island following their legal ceremony last month. Smith stunned in an elegant beaded bridal gown, and Clare opted for a dapper white tuxedo for the clifftop venue Son Marroig.
The ceremony was attended by fellow Love Island stars, including Mitch Taylor and his girlfriend Hayley Griffin, as well as Sophie Piper and Joshua Ritchie. Best man Casey O'Gorman shared videos of the reception, where guests partied throughout the night.
One notable absence was Love Islander Anton Danyluk, who explained his decision not to attend stemmed from his ongoing journey with sobriety. Danyluk, who has been open about his struggles with problematic drinking, stated he had initially turned down the invitation because he had recently decided to stop drinking. He later reflected that while he had made progress in managing his alcohol intake, the decision at the time was necessary for his well-being.
Mitch Taylor publicly commented on Danyluk's post, calling it "weird." Other social media users debated Danyluk's explanation, with some criticizing his perceived attention-seeking and others expressing understanding for his focus on mental health.
Casey O'Gorman also experienced travel difficulties en route to the wedding. He recounted on Instagram stories how his EasyJet flight to Mallorca was overbooked, and he was initially denied boarding. The situation was resolved when another passenger accepted compensation to give up their seat, allowing O'Gorman to travel.
Smith and Clare had a civil ceremony in the UK in July, which they described as "really special and intimate." However, a celebratory dinner at The Ivy following the UK ceremony became unexpectedly raucous, with guests dancing on tables and O'Gorman reportedly ending up on the floor.
The couple, who got engaged last year, met on Love Island: All Stars in 2024. Tom Clare proposed to Molly Smith in September last year while on holiday in Dubai.
