Love Island Star Montana Brown Hints at Split from Fiancé
Reality TV personality Montana Brown has fueled speculation about a breakup with fiancé Mark O'Connor through a recent cryptic social media update.
Love Island star Montana Brown has sparked speculation that she has split from her fiancé Mark O'Connor following the release of a cryptic "life update" video on TikTok. Brown, 31, posted the clip on Monday, telling her followers that "so much has happened in the last six months" without providing specific details.
"I am going to do a life update video soon. I feel like so much has happened in the last six months and it has been a little bit nuts," Brown stated in the video. She added that she finds it difficult to be "raw and emotional" on camera and struggles to emulate other influencers who share deeply emotional content. "For me, as soon as the camera is on. It has been a tough old six months. More to come on that, definitely more to share," she said, before concluding, "I have just been knuckling down and focusing on me and being with my kids and being with nature. I am finally ready to be open about everything."
Montana Brown has promised fans she will share further details about her life soon. Her fiancé, Mark O'Connor, has not appeared in any of Brown's recent Instagram posts, further fueling breakup rumors. The couple, who share two children, Jude, three, and Miley, 20 months, first went public with their relationship in 2021 after meeting at the gym. They became engaged two years later during a babymoon.
This speculation comes after Brown recently revealed that stress had triggered significant hair loss. Earlier this month, she shared that she had been diagnosed with female pattern hair loss and Telogen Effluvium after experiencing severe shedding for several months. Female pattern hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia, causes gradual thinning on the scalp, while Telogen Effluvium is a temporary condition often triggered by emotional or physical stress.
Brown stated she had lost confidence after noticing bald patches and shared photos of her thinning hair, showing large clumps she had been losing multiple times a week. She expressed shock at the diagnosis, admitting she had been hoping the issue would resolve on its own. Brown also noted that her iron levels were low following two consecutive pregnancies, and that stress and poor sleep may have contributed to her hair loss.
The Daily Mail has contacted Montana Brown's representative for comment.
