Love Island will introduce 12 new singles into a separate villa, known as Casa Amor, as part of a major twist teased at the end of Friday night's episode. The new arrivals are intended to stir up drama and provide existing islanders with new romantic possibilities.
In the Casa Amor format, the original villa's male and female contestants are split, with each group meeting six new individuals. After a few days, the islanders face a decision to either stay with their current partners or pursue a connection with one of the new arrivals.
Among the new female contestants is Irish influencer Charlene Murphy, a 27-year-old content creator from Dublin. She is joined by Mara, 25, a nursery manager from Luton; Martha, 25, a personal shopper from London; Olivia, 23, a marketing coordinator from Doncaster; Nevaeh, 22, a student nurse from Gloucester; and Julia, 26, an insurance broker from London.
Murphy stated that she has her eye on Kavan, Aidan, Lorenzo, and Sean. She described Kavan as her "type on paper" and expressed excitement about getting to know everyone, believing that exploring different connections is a core aspect of the show. She also shared her ideal partner type: tall with kind eyes, someone whose "vibe is really important," possessing a good personality, humor, and the ability to not take themselves too seriously.
Martha described her type as "tall, dark and handsome," but acknowledged that personality, particularly someone who can make her laugh and create "flutters," is more important.
The six new male contestants include Tommy, a 23-year-old event owner and semi-professional footballer from Essex; Gabriel, a 24-year-old model from London; Jordon, a 28-year-old video editor from Surrey; Will, a 23-year-old model from Barnsley; Carlos, a 22-year-old tarmac reinstatement worker from the New Forest; and Aaron, a 26-year-old basketball player from East London.
Tommy indicated interest in Yasmin and Jasmine, feeling he would "vibe very well" with Yasmin and that Jasmine might challenge him, which he finds appealing. Gabriel is looking for someone with intelligence, emotional maturity, confidence, and humility, with a soft spot for brunettes and tanned individuals. Aaron is interested in Angelista, Mica, and Jasmine. Jordon's ideal type includes someone respectful with a good vibe, while Will noted that his preferences can change based on "vibes and chemistry."
