Love Is Blind Season 11 Engagement Ends Amid Drunken Outbursts
Contestant Rob Feeley's aggressive behavior and shouting at producers led to the dissolution of his engagement to Michaella Giorgio.
The engagement of "Love Is Blind" Season 11 contestants Michaella Giorgio and Rob Feeley has concluded following a series of intense arguments and outbursts from Feeley. The dramatic turn of events unfolded in recent episodes, which aired on Netflix.
The conflict escalated during a night out where Feeley, an AI infrastructure salesman, consumed excessive alcohol. His behavior became aggressive, leading him to shout at producers after one of his friends was denied further drinks. Giorgio, a businesswoman, stated that Feeley began to criticize her personally off-camera, questioning her motives for being on the show and suggesting she had "a lot to gain professionally."
"That’s probably the most insulting thing you could say, that I’m here for the wrong reasons," Giorgio expressed in a confessional, highlighting the deep hurt caused by his words. "I’m here to get married and to find love. So to hear that from the man who is closest to me is kind of a huge deal."
During the bar incident, Feeley confronted the production crew, demanding to have all microphones removed and stating, "I don’t really care. Honestly, I’m done with this s–t anyway." He then instructed his brother to order drinks for everyone, adding, "f–k this s–t, tell them to move the f–king cameras."
His brother attempted to de-escalate the situation, advising Feeley to "chill" and "shut the f–k up." The tension further increased when Giorgio questioned if his outburst was a "temporary part of the night." Feeley then turned the argument towards her, referencing a time she had called his behavior aggressive when he was pulling on her earring. When asked if he had ever been aggressive towards her, Giorgio responded, "No, other than this moment."
Later, during a party with fellow cast members, which Giorgio had initially been reluctant to attend due to exhaustion from Feeley's behavior, he again became confrontational. Giorgio had been speaking with Matt Waldrip, an ex from the pods, when Feeley loudly declared, "I’m going down in this thing as the biggest piece of s–t. Right where Netflix wants me, buddy." He continued, accusing the show of manipulation and stating, "No one knew each other a month ago. Wake up, boys! If I fell off a bridge, do you think you guys would care?"
After predicting his own "cancellation" for disrupting the show, Feeley insisted Giorgio sit with him. The conversation proved overwhelming for Giorgio, who later confided in castmate Erika Ellis that she could not marry him "under any circumstances."
"I don’t deserve any of what I’m getting. I love him. It’s just a lot. And we’re not getting married," Giorgio stated, confirming the end of their relationship.
The other couples from Season 11 who are reportedly still together ahead of the season finale include John Shannon and Sarah Williams, Erika Ellis and Carver, Wilnie Louis and Wilson Monteiro, and Aneha Singh and Cam Halloran.
