Louisa Jacobson, the youngest daughter of Meryl Streep, made a notable appearance this week at the 2026 WWD Honors Gala in New York City, presenting a bold fashion statement.

Jacobson, 35, attended the event in a pinstripe suit from Haider Ackermann’s spring 2027 Tom Ford collection, opting not to wear a slip underneath. She complemented the ensemble with metallic heels and styled her newly cropped blonde hair in a sleek side part. Jacobson, an actress known for her role as Marian Brook in the HBO period drama "The Gilded Age," graduated from the Yale School of Drama with an MFA in acting.

Jacobson publicly came out as a lesbian in June 2024, sharing photos with her producer partner, Anna Blundell. At the time, she posted celebratory messages, including "blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb," accompanied by heart and rainbow flag emojis. In February 2025, she spoke with the Daily Mail about her coming out experience, stating that her mother, Meryl Streep, has been "so supportive." Jacobson also noted a significant shift in her relationship with her femininity since coming out, viewing it as an expansion of her self-expression and identity.

Streep, 77, shares Jacobson with her estranged husband, Don Gummer, 79. The couple, who were married for 45 years, announced their separation in October 2023, revealing they had been living apart for over six years.

Streep and Gummer are also parents to son Henry, 46, a musician, and daughters Mamie, 42, and Grace, 39, both actresses. Jacobson previously dated actor Jonathan Higginbotham, whom she met while studying at the Yale School of Drama.
