Louis Tomlinson Arrives in Melbourne for Australian Tour Leg
The former One Direction star was seen attempting to maintain a low profile upon arrival, escorted by security.
Louis Tomlinson has arrived in Melbourne, Australia, to commence the latest portion of his "How Did We Get Here?" World Tour. The singer landed at Melbourne Airport on Monday for a series of solo concerts.
Tomlinson, 34, was observed attempting to go unnoticed, wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and sunglasses. He was accompanied by several security guards who managed the crowd and assisted him to a waiting vehicle. At times, he kept his head down or pulled his hood further across his face to avoid detection. He was dressed in an all-black outfit, including an Adidas hoodie and sweatpants, and carried a seemingly full backpack. He completed his look with black sneakers.
The tour is scheduled to begin Tuesday night at John Cain Arena in Melbourne. Following his Melbourne performance, Tomlinson is slated to perform at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday and at Brisbane's Riverstage on Saturday.
This marks Tomlinson's return to Australia after his "Faith in the Future" world tour in 2024. He recently shared a stage with former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan at a concert in Paris in April, where he acknowledged Horan's presence, stating it "meant a lot" that he attended.
In previous interviews, Tomlinson has expressed a dislike for performing One Direction's hit "What Makes You Beautiful," calling it their most "bubble gum pop moment" and feeling it was too "corny." He cited "Story Of My Life" as his favorite track from the band's discography, viewing it as a significant turning point for the group.
