A 283-acre New Jersey farm owned by the late television personality Lou Dobbs is on the market for $6 million. Known as Hickory Hollow Farm, the estate was where Dobbs and his wife, Debi, hosted annual Fourth of July parties that drew media stars, political consultants, and locals.

These all-day celebrations often featured live music, fireworks, and activities for children, including scavenger hunts, swimming, and pony rides. Debi Dobbs told Gimme Shelter that they "wanted to share our unique farm and all it had to offer." Attendees over the years included Fox Business host Stuart Varney, political consultant Ed Rollins, and former U.S. Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher.

The property includes a five-bedroom Colonial main house, a two-bedroom guest cottage, and a two-bedroom caretaker’s cottage. The grounds also feature a pool, a tennis court, and an 11-acre pond stocked with fish.

Lou Dobbs, who passed away in 2024 at age 78, was an original CNN anchor when the network launched in 1980 and hosted the show "Moneyline," later renamed "Lou Dobbs Tonight." He moved to the Fox Business Network in 2011, where he hosted "Lou Dobbs Tonight" until 2021. He was known for his advocacy of conservative issues.

Hickory Hollow Farm was built in 1977 and acquired by the Dobbs family in 1984. The estate has been expanded to its current 283 acres.

The listing, handled by Weichert Realtors' Jaime Luongo, suggests potential future amenities for new owners, such as a helipad or a golf course. The property is categorized as farmland assessed, not preserved, indicating development options are available.
