Los Angeles Rams Suffer Another Blow as Myles Garrett Remains Sidelined

The Los Angeles Rams will be without their prominent offseason acquisition, Myles Garrett, for their upcoming Week 7 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. This marks the sixth consecutive game Garrett will miss due to a knee injury sustained earlier in the season.

Garrett has been sidelined since the Rams' Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Following that game, the team placed him on the injured reserve list for arthroscopic knee surgery. He was initially required to miss a minimum of four games, but his absence has now extended beyond that initial period with no clear timeline for his return.

Growing Injury Concerns for the Rams

The absence of Garrett is compounded by a series of other significant injuries affecting the Rams' roster. The team's defense has suffered a major setback with nose tackle Poona Ford expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a ruptured triceps. Additionally, Kobie Turner will be out for an estimated 4-6 weeks with a groin injury.

On the offensive side, wide receiver Davante Adams is projected to miss the next 6-10 weeks due to a hamstring injury.

The Rams are also facing challenges at the kicker position, having recently lost Blake Grupe to a torn ACL. Grupe sustained the injury in the first quarter of the team's Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals while attempting to tackle a kick returner. This marks the third kicker the team will have had to find this season.

Garrett's injury saga began before the season even started, as he spent a significant portion of training camp dealing with the knee issue, which was initially described by the team as "soreness."
