Los Angeles is set to host a variety of events and fireworks displays across the city to commemorate the Fourth of July and the nation's 250th birthday. Celebrations are planned at iconic locations including Dodger Stadium, Marina del Rey, Huntington Beach, the Hollywood Bowl, and Long Beach, offering both free community gatherings and ticketed spectacles.

Dodger Stadium will feature its traditional post-game fireworks show following a July 4th home game. For those without stadium tickets, Elysian Park is noted as a free viewing spot. Marina del Rey will present its annual fireworks show over the harbor at 9 p.m., complete with a synchronized musical score, launched from a barge. Viewing locations include Burton Chace Park and Fisherman's Village.

Huntington Beach is scheduled to host its "Fireworks Over the Ocean" show, also at 9 p.m., which typically draws large crowds and is part of a three-day celebration that includes a parade and a 5K run. Beach viewing is free, with an option to purchase tickets for pier seating.

The Hollywood Bowl will combine live music with a fireworks display as part of its annual July Fourth celebration. This year's event is set to feature Grammy and Emmy winner Harry Connick, Jr. as the headliner.

Long Beach is planning a week-long celebration titled "Sea to Shining LBC: America 250." The festivities will culminate in a significant waterfront fireworks display, with synchronized pyrotechnics launching simultaneously from three barges positioned along Granada Beach, Junipero Beach, and the Queen Mary waterfront. The display is expected to span 20 minutes along the coastline.
