Lorraine Kelly's daughter, Rosie, has married her partner Steve White in Scotland.
The influencer, 32, announced the news on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, sharing that the past weekend was "the most special weekend of our lives." She posted a picture from her hotel room, stating, "Well we got married... Decompressing in Edinburgh after the most special weekend of our lives – will share more soon but taking the time to just soak it all up."
Rosie and Steve, who welcomed their daughter Billie in August 2024, got engaged in June 2024. Kelly, a well-known television presenter, became a grandmother upon Billie's arrival.
Kelly has spoken about her joy in becoming a grandmother, noting that it feels like a second chance at motherhood. She and her husband, Steve Smith, have recently moved to be closer to Rosie's family. Kelly explained in a previous interview that while Rosie is Billie's mother, she feels she can be a mother in a different capacity, potentially doing a better job than she did when raising Rosie due to her prior career demands.
She recalled the challenges of balancing motherhood and her career when Rosie was born in the 1990s, noting that television was less accommodating to pregnant presenters then compared to today. Kelly credited Anne Diamond as a trailblazer for pregnant women on television.
Upon Billie's birth, Kelly shared her pride on Instagram, writing, "Baby Billie is an angel and I'm so proud of Rosie and Steve who will be the best parents. I'm delighted to be Granny Smith and can't wait to go on adventures."
Rosie announced her daughter's birth on August 29, 2024, with the full name Billie Kelly Smith-White. She described her baby as a "wee lamb" and praised the midwives for their support.
