Lorraine Kelly Channels Bet Lynch in Leopard Print Coat
The daytime TV host donned a faux fur leopard print coat, drawing comparisons to the iconic Coronation Street character.
Lorraine Kelly, the queen of daytime television, recently revived memories of Coronation Street's Bet Lynch by wearing a leopard print fur coat.
The Scottish presenter showcased the ensemble on her show, prompting immediate comparisons to the iconic Rovers Return landlady. Bet, famously portrayed by Julie Goodyear until 2003, was known for her distinctive leopard print attire, often accompanied by a cigarette and a drink.
The character's flamboyant style, characterized by heavy makeup and a beehive hairstyle, was even parodied by Freddie Mercury in Queen's 1984 music video for "I Want to Break Free."
Kelly, however, opted for a more modern and chic look. With her brown hair down, stiletto heels, and a tartan dress, she paired the leopard print coat with her trademark smile.
The 66-year-old host was joined by fashion expert Mark Heyes, who was presenting his selection of high-street winter coats. Kelly expressed her admiration for the faux fur leopard print coat from M&S, which was priced at £72.
