Jennifer Lopez's first ex-husband, Ojani Noa, has alleged he confronted Sean 'Diddy' Combs and had a significant argument after discovering an affair between Combs and Lopez. Noa, who was married to Lopez from 1997 to 1998, detailed the alleged encounter in a recent interview.

Noa claims the confrontation occurred at a party in Los Angeles, where he told Combs to leave and admitted to calling him a "f*** you." He stated that he informed Combs that he had been involved with his wife. According to Noa, Lopez intervened, but ultimately left the party with Combs.

He also recalled Lopez telling him she was "in fear of her life and scared" of Combs. Noa alleges that Combs had verbally abused Lopez and made threats against her and her family. He stated that Lopez called him after Combs reportedly appeared at her home and began shouting her name, prompting Noa to leave work and go to her house.

Upon arriving at Lopez's residence, Noa claimed she was distressed and worried because Combs was allegedly in possession of firearms. The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Jennifer Lopez and Sean Combs for comment.

In previous statements, Noa has spoken about the strain that Lopez's rise to superstardom placed on their marriage. He described feeling like "Mr Cinderella" and admitted that he did not realize the extent of her fame when they first fell in love. He also recounted instances where photos of Lopez with Combs, who was producing her album at the time, began circulating. Noa claimed Lopez told him that her relationship with Combs was "just business" and that she was being advised to participate in such activities.

Noa expressed jealousy and argued with Lopez about her apparent dates with Combs, to which she allegedly responded by emphasizing professional obligations. He also stated that while they had discussed having children, Lopez later indicated she could not have a baby due to concerns about its impact on her career.

Following their divorce, Lopez went on to marry Cris Judd, Marc Anthony, and most recently, Ben Affleck. Noa has previously suggested that Lopez expressed a desire to reconcile at times after their separation.

Sean Combs has a history of legal issues. In October 2025, he was found guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution under the federal Mann Act. He received a sentence of four years and two months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine.
