Lone Juror in Clancy Trial Faces Threats, Fundraiser Surpasses $360,000

The sole juror who did not vote to acquit Lindsay Clancy in her murder trial has become the target of alleged death threats and doxing, leading to the launch of a successful fundraiser for him. Michael Desronvil, 48, was photographed holding his newborn daughter, a picture shared by his attorney, Edward Paltzik, as a fundraising effort in his name raised over $360,900.

Desronvil was the only juror who refused to agree with the other 11 that Clancy should be found not guilty by reason of insanity. This disagreement led to a mistrial in the case of Clancy, 36, who was accused of killing her three young children at their Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023. Clancy's defense centered on her mental state at the time, arguing she was suffering from postpartum psychosis.
