Social media personality and former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne has described her horrified reaction to a direct message she received from Andrew Tate, an influencer who has faced multiple accusations. Dunne, speaking at Fanatics Fest in New York, recounted the incident when asked about the funniest private message she had received.

"I know this is controversial," Dunne stated. "Andrew Tate one time messaged me and I was like, I need to like delete Instagram forever."

She added that Tate's account was subsequently deactivated. The interviewer expressed shock, responding that they would also delete their Instagram account under similar circumstances. Dunne did not specify when the message was sent, but Tate was banned from platforms like Instagram in the summer of 2022 for hate speech.

Dunne later elaborated in a separate interview that Tate's message read, "Come to Europe, dear," accompanied by a rose emoji. This interaction occurred before reports surfaced in 2026 of Dunne dating Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, a former LSU classmate.

On the same day Dunne shared her experience, Andrew Tate, 39, and his brother Tristan Tate, 38, were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Miami. They are facing extradition to the United Kingdom, where they have been charged with a combined total of 59 counts, including rape, sex trafficking, possession of indecent images of a child, and assault. British prosecutors stated that new charges were brought forward after an investigation into claims made by four additional alleged victims. Tate's attorney, Joseph McBride, has maintained the brothers' innocence, stating they are confident the facts will lead to their release.

Tate took to the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to claim he was being held in punitive housing within federal detention in Miami, describing his cellmate as a "cannibal who screams throughout the night." He questioned his placement in such conditions, stating he is an American citizen awaiting extradition and is innocent until proven guilty.
