Social media personality Olivia “Livvy” Dunne and Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes were seen enjoying a beach day in Key Biscayne, Florida, on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026. The outing occurred one day after Skenes was removed from his start against the Miami Marlins after throwing only 65 pitches and failing to exceed 96.5 mph on his fastball.

Following the game, Skenes addressed the decision to pull him, telling reporters that he would have made the same choice if he were in manager Don Kelly's position. "[Kelly] walked me through everything, and it made sense," Skenes said. "I wish I could have gone more, but it kinda is what it is. … He’s the manager, and I don’t ever argue with it. Like I said, I understand why."

Kelly stated that Skenes is not dealing with an injury, but acknowledged that "everybody is going through it" with the Pirates. Skenes is expected to pitch again early next week against the Detroit Tigers.

Dunne and Skenes, who went public with their relationship three years ago, have shared several public moments, including an appearance at this summer's MLB All-Star Game in Philadelphia. Dunne previously shared details of their meeting at LSU on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, describing their relationship as two college students who met while she was a gymnast and he was a baseball player.

Dunne is slated to be part of Fox's reboot of "Baywatch," which is expected to be released in January. The couple has been navigating their respective careers, with Dunne pursuing social media and acting, and Skenes establishing himself as a prominent pitcher in Major League Baseball.
