Lisa Snowdon has emerged from a wellness retreat in Bali feeling "stronger mentally and physically" after a period of personal difficulty, including her recent split from fiancé George Smart. The 54-year-old TV star documented her experiences at a women's-only yoga and pilates retreat, describing it as a time for "soul searching" and "a good old cry."
Snowdon shared highlights of her trip with followers, emphasizing her personal definition of wellness. "Wellness, for me, has never been about perfection. It’s about connection," she stated, highlighting the value of shared experiences and meaningful conversations. She also noted the benefits of physical activity and mindfulness, stating, "moving your body, slowing your mind... sometimes having a cold beer barefoot on the beach."
She expressed gratitude for the retreat's organizers and the community formed, attributing her renewed sense of strength to the immersive experience. "I am feeling stronger mentally and physically and it’s not over yet!" she declared.
The retreat followed Snowdon's separation from George Smart, her fiancé of ten years. The couple became engaged in 2016 after reconnecting in 2014, having briefly dated two decades prior. Snowdon had previously indicated she was in no rush to marry. In recent months, George Smart has been absent from Snowdon's social media, sparking speculation among her followers.
In parallel to her personal journey, Snowdon has spoken about embracing her mid-50s as a "new chapter." She shared with Prima magazine that she views this stage of life as an opportunity for self-rediscovery and making significant life changes, referring to it as "the second spring." She also expressed a desire for future television presenting roles.
