Lisa Snowdon, 54, has shared moments from her recent trip to Sri Lanka, a getaway that follows her separation from fiancé George Smart. The television presenter posted updates on her travels, including images of herself in a bikini during what appears to be an outdoor shower and lounging by a pool.
Snowdon, who recently returned from a wellness retreat in Bali, described the Sri Lanka trip as a continuation of her journey towards personal well-being. "The story so far here in Sri Lanka. Earlier in the month, Snowdon participated in a wellness retreat in Bali, an experience she described as contributing to feeling "stronger mentally." She shared that her approach to wellness focuses on "connection" rather than perfection, encompassing activities like moving the body, slowing the mind, introspection, and social connection, all balanced with personal rituals and everyday life.
"I am feeling stronger mentally and physically and it's not over yet!" she stated after the Bali retreat. She also expressed gratitude for the community and the location, crediting @fiona.yoga for bringing the group together.
While Snowdon has not publicly commented on her split from Smart, her engagement ring has not been seen for several weeks, and Smart has not appeared on her social media since January. The couple, who briefly dated two decades ago, reconnected in 2014 and became engaged in 2016. During their 12-year relationship, Snowdon had previously indicated she was in no rush to marry.
In recent interviews, Snowdon has spoken about embracing her mid-50s as a "new chapter" in her life. She advocates for a positive reframing of aging, stating at 54, she is in a position to prioritize her own needs and desires. "It's the second spring," she remarked, noting the opportunity for self-reconnection and significant life changes.
Reflecting on her career, Snowdon has expressed a desire for a major television presenting role, though she was not offered the role of host for Strictly Come Dancing.
