Paramount+'s spy thriller "Lioness," co-created by Taylor Sheridan, is set to return for its third season on Sunday, August 2. The new season will debut at 3:01 a.m. ET.
The series, which stars Zoe Saldaña as CIA operative Joe and Nicole Kidman as Kaitlyn Meade, will feature eight episodes in its third season. The official synopsis for Season 3 indicates that "hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals collide." Joe is described as "walk[ing] the line between duty and home as unseen forces circle her world."
The synopsis further elaborates that "patterns appear where they shouldn’t, names vanish, and paths rearrange." Guided by Kaitlyn and Westfield (Michael Kelly), Joe will confront adversaries operating in the shadows, leading to a conflict that infiltrates every aspect of her life.
"Lioness" also features a cast including Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, and Genesis Rodriguez. Both previous seasons of the show are currently available for streaming on Paramount+.
Paramount+ offers two subscription tiers: Essential, an ad-supported plan costing $8.99 per month, and Premium, an ad-free plan that includes Showtime titles and live CBS for $13.99 per month. The streamer previously offered a seven-day free trial for the Premium plan. For those looking to access Paramount+ content through another service, it is possible to add the streamer to a Prime Video account for an additional monthly fee.
