Lionel Richie has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit after performing in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday. The 77-year-old singer checked himself into a local hospital for testing, according to reports. Witnesses at the concert indicated that Richie struggled to complete his final song, "All Night Long," and requested a chair while on stage. Richie's representatives have been contacted for comment.
This incident follows a previous health scare in June, when Richie fell ill during a concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, forcing him to sit down multiple times during his performance. He later canceled two subsequent shows in Chicago and Columbus, Ohio, due to doctors' advice to rest and recover. At the time, Richie assured fans he was doing well and expressed gratitude for their support via an Instagram post.
