LinkedIn Co-Founder Funds Democratic Ads Using Epstein Files

Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, has emerged as a significant donor to House Majority PAC (HMP), a major Democratic fundraising organization. The PAC has recently begun using advertising campaigns focused on Jeffrey Epstein's activities to target Republican candidates, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

Hoffman's contributions to HMP occurred as the PAC increased its spending on advertisements related to Epstein just weeks before an election. These ads assert that Republicans have not adequately addressed transparency concerns surrounding Epstein's child sex trafficking network and his alleged facilitation of illegal sexual encounters for others.

One such ad campaign by HMP targeted Rep. Nick Begich, R-Alaska, for his initial vote against a procedural motion to advance the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The legislation, which later passed with broad bipartisan support in November 2025, mandates the Justice Department to release records pertaining to Epstein, with provisions to protect victims' identities. HMP has reported spending approximately $543,300 on this specific ad campaign.

The PAC has also allocated substantial funds to similar advertisements in other competitive districts. These include $480,000 in Iowa's Second Congressional District, $2.06 million in Pennsylvania's First District, $550,150 in Arizona's Second District, and $628,000 in Pennsylvania's Eighth Congressional District. These advertisements were launched within the past week, according to ADMO, an advertising-tracking service.

Critics have raised concerns about the use of Epstein-themed ads funded by Hoffman, given his past documented ties to Epstein. Natalie Baldassarre, a spokesperson for the Republican National Committee (RNC), stated, "Democrats have no problem with money in politics so long as it benefits their own campaign, even if it comes from certified perverts like Reid Hoffman who maintained a relationship with Epstein after his conviction." The RNC spokesperson added, "Democrats have no morals when power and money are on the line, and they’ll take both from anyone willing to write a check."

Records indicate that Hoffman and Epstein exchanged correspondence and gifts, and collaborated on fundraising for MIT's Media Lab. Publicly available documents from the Department of Justice's Epstein Files library show that Hoffman visited Epstein's New York residence and accompanied him to his private island. In a Christmas Eve 2014 email, Hoffman mentioned sending Epstein gifts to his New York address and items for his island.

Hoffman has previously stated his regret over his continued association with Epstein after Epstein's 2008 conviction on charges related to soliciting a minor. In a 2019 statement, Hoffman said, "My last interaction with Epstein was in 2015. Still, by agreeing to participate in any fundraising activity where Epstein was present, I helped to repair his reputation and perpetuate injustice. For this, I am deeply regretful."

There are no allegations that Hoffman participated in Epstein's sex-trafficking crimes. Fox News Digital reached out to representatives for Hoffman but did not receive a response.
