Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn has publicly confirmed her relationship with French alpine ski star Matthieu Bailet, marking their summer romance with a series of affectionate social media posts. Vonn shared vacation snapshots on Instagram, including images of the couple embracing and relaxing together, which Bailet responded to with enthusiasm for a potential "summer recap part 2."
The relationship had been rumored since May, when reports indicated Vonn and Bailet were spending time together. They were subsequently seen backstage at a Broadway musical, shopping in New York City's SoHo district, and riding the subway. Vonn had also previously posted a flirty emoji on an Instagram picture of Bailet.
This marks Vonn's first publicly known relationship since her 2025 split from business executive Diego Osorio. Vonn had stated at the time of her breakup with Osorio that the separation would allow her to focus on her preparation for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
In recent months, Vonn has also made public appearances, including at the US Open, following significant recovery from eight surgeries related to injuries sustained at the Milan-Cortina Games. Vonn has been a familiar face at the US Open, having attended in previous years with former partners Osorio and hockey player P.K. Subban.
