Lindsey Vonn Celebrates 42nd Birthday with New Clothing Line Launch

Lindsey Vonn continued her 42nd birthday celebrations by launching a new collection for her clothing line. The Olympic champion, author, and entrepreneur marked the occasion with a European beach day followed by the release of her latest designs.

Vonn, who also founded her own foundation and is an investor, highlighted her perspective on aging in a social media post. "Age is a funny thing… my perspective of life at 30 was that (especially as an athlete) I was over the hill, but now that I’m in my 40’s I feel the knowledge of life that I have amassed makes me feel somehow much younger and more confident in who I am," she wrote.

She expressed gratitude for her experiences, including a past skiing crash, and for the support she has received. "Despite my crash and all of the things that have happened to me, the good, the bad the ugly… I’m always thankful to be in this life. Thankful for all the love and support I’ve received. 🙏🏻❤️ cheers to another one!"

The collection appears to feature pieces like bodysuits, suggesting a focus on versatile apparel. Vonn's multi-faceted career extends beyond her athletic achievements, encompassing entrepreneurial ventures and advocacy work. Her activities, from launching clothing lines to attending events like the USTA Foundation Gala and the Met Gala, demonstrate a continued engagement in public life.

In related news, LPGA golfer Charley Hull defended Sydney Sweeney against criticism regarding a sports betting commercial, dismissing the outrage as unwarranted noise over standard marketing practices. Hull's comments addressed themes of brand promotion and the perceived sex appeal in advertising within women's sports.
