The trial of Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts mother accused of killing her three young children, entered its second day with the emotional playing of a 911 call placed by her then-husband and the presentation of evidence including the children's clothing and exercise bands used in the slayings.

Clancy, who faces charges in the January 2023 deaths of her children Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, became audibly distressed during the proceedings. Prosecutors also displayed the clothes the children were wearing at the time of their deaths and the three exercise bands believed to have been used in the killings. During this presentation, Clancy was observed gripping her lawyer's hand tightly.

Clancy does not dispute causing the deaths of her children but has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, contending she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. Her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, testified on Wednesday, becoming overwhelmed as he recounted the night of the tragedy.
