Lindsay Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, has publicly defended her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, against what he described as "horrific conspiracy allegations" and urged the public to cease speculation about Patrick Clancy's involvement in the deaths of their three children. Reddington stated that Patrick Clancy "ought to be able to move on with his life" without facing unfounded theories that he was responsible for strangling Cora, Dawson, and Callan Clancy and framing his then-wife.

"Stop with the speculation and horrific conspiracy allegations that he was involved with some massive conspiracy to kill his children," Reddington said in an interview on "CBS Mornings." "It's horrific what this man has been going through and he's entitled to move on with his life."

Patrick Clancy had divorced Lindsay Clancy, relocated to New York City, and married infertility specialist Rachel Danis earlier this year. He had previously testified as the prosecution's first witness in the trial of Lindsay Clancy, which concluded on September 4, 2026, with a mistrial due to a deadlocked jury. Reddington is scheduled to present a motion to dismiss the case against his client on September 29, 2026.
