Lindsay Clancy, accused of killing her three children, continues to express a desire to be reunited with them, according to her defense attorney. "I want my babies. I want my babies," Kevin Reddington, Clancy's lawyer, told NBC News. Clancy is reportedly "constantly" saying this about her slain children: Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan.
In January 2023, Clancy, a former labor and delivery nurse, allegedly strangled her children with exercise bands before attempting suicide. Her defense argued that she was experiencing postpartum psychosis at the time of the killings.
Last Friday, the triple murder trial concluded with a hung jury. The jury was reportedly split 11-1, failing to reach a unanimous verdict. The mistrial means the legal proceedings for Clancy will continue, with prosecutors expected to seek a new trial date.
