Cooper stated that Lindsay Clancy’s testimony would proceed once her own criminal case, related to the strangulation of their three children, is resolved.
Cooper indicated that Lindsay Clancy intends to testify that she explicitly informed the defendants of her "homicidal ideation" and her fears that "something awful" might happen to her children. "I can’t imagine a more explicit threat," Cooper said, adding that the defense's argument for a lack of specific threats by date, time, or place appeared to be a technicality.
Attorneys for the healthcare providers Patrick Clancy is suing have argued that there is insufficient evidence that Lindsay Clancy ever communicated thoughts of harming her children to them.
