Lily Coleman Weds Felix McCorquodale in Lavish London Ceremony

Annabel Croft was a proud mother as her daughter, TV presenter Lily Saffron Coleman, married Felix McCorquodale, a relative of Princess Diana, in a grand London wedding over the weekend. The ceremony took place at St Mary's Church, Battersea, with the couple surrounded by loved ones.

Lily, 28, and Felix, 31, a relative of Princess Diana's stepmother Raine Spencer, celebrated their union on Saturday. The newlyweds emerged from the church to cheers and confetti, accompanied by live bagpipes in honor of Felix's Scottish heritage. Annabel, a former British number one tennis player and "Strictly Come Dancing" star, appeared radiant in a bronze-patterned gown and floral headpiece.

The bride wore an elegant ivory wedding gown with sheer sleeves and a sweeping train, carrying a bouquet of colorful flowers. Her husband opted for traditional morning dress. The couple later departed in a vintage black convertible adorned with a "Just Married" banner and a sign reading "The McCorquodales."

This milestone occurs more than three years after Annabel's husband and Lily's father, Mel Coleman, died in May 2023 at the age of 60. He had been battling advanced cancer, with sepsis being the immediate cause of his death. Annabel revealed that before his passing, Mel had given his blessing for Felix to marry Lily, a detail she discovered years later.

Lily, who has worked as a producer on reality TV shows and transitioned into sports presenting, shared photos of the celebration on Instagram, calling it the "best weekend ever." Her older sister, Amber, described it as "The happiest day."

The reception was held at Wild by Tart, a venue in Belgravia. Guests enjoyed a wedding breakfast at long banquet tables decorated with flowers and candles. The couple exchanged vows and later transitioned to an evening celebration where Lily changed into a short white feathered dress paired with bright pink platform heels.

The engagement was announced last September, shortly after Lily's brother, Charlie Coleman, married Honor Wainwright. Annabel expressed her happiness at the time, stating, "The most wonderful news and makes me so happy."

Annabel has spoken openly about the grief she experienced following Mel's death. The couple met in 1987 when Mel taught Annabel to sail for a television program. Mel passed away just weeks before their 30th wedding anniversary. Annabel later competed in the 2023 series of "Strictly Come Dancing," reaching the semi-finals, and credited the show with aiding her recovery from her husband's loss.

Annabel has since become a grandmother twice over. Her daughter Amber's son, Arlo, has the middle name Melvyn in honor of his late grandfather. Charlie's daughter, Cosima, was named after her two grandmothers.
