Lily Allen made a striking fashion statement while leaving a London restaurant on Tuesday night, opting for a daring ensemble that featured a see-through lace catsuit paired with a sparkling Chanel jacket. The outfit, created for a dinner co-hosted with British Vogue and Calzedonia, consisted of Calzedonia's Liberty Floral Mesh Top and matching Liberty Floral Fishnet Tights, giving the appearance of a catsuit.
Allen layered the sheer pieces with a black bra and high-waisted briefs. Her accessories included patent Christian Louboutin heels and a croc-embossed Chanel vanity bag. This look echoed an outfit she previously modeled for Calzedonia's fall campaign.
When asked by British Vogue about the key to great style, Allen responded, "It's all about confidence, and comfort." She added, "It’s a cliché, but I think you can tell if someone is comfortable, or if they’re trying to emulate something else."
The singer has garnered attention for her bold fashion choices in the past, particularly following her split from David Harbour. She has been seen in a series of headline-making "revenge dresses." Allen is currently on tour with her album "West End Girl," which is reportedly inspired by her breakup. Her tour dates continue in Auckland, New Zealand, and will move to Australia later in October.
