Liam Gallagher Urges Oasis Fans to 'Stop Moaning' About High Ticket Prices

Liam Gallagher has told Oasis fans to 'stop moaning' about the price of tickets for the band's upcoming world tour, which have drawn criticism for starting at £170.50 for standing room. Packages including VIP experiences, hotels, and coach travel can cost up to £571.

The comments come a year after the band's comeback gigs faced backlash for using dynamic pricing, a strategy where ticket prices fluctuate based on demand. Following that criticism, Oasis and Ticketmaster had vowed not to employ the practice for the new tour.

Fans have expressed their discontent on social media, with one user highlighting the significant price increase since the 1990s. "In June 1994 I saw Oasis play the Cathouse in Glasgow for £6.30. Next year, a standing ticket to see them in Glasgow will be £170 upwards. That's an inflation rate of 2598%," the fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Gallagher quickly responded to the post with "STOP MOANING."

When asked about resellers selling tickets at inflated prices, Gallagher advised, "Don’t f***ing buy them SIMPLE."

Some fans have publicly decided against purchasing tickets due to the cost. One user shared a screenshot of a pre-sale access code, stating, "thanks for the invite but 170 quid a ticket think i’ll pass xxx."

Other reactions from disgruntled fans included statements like "£170 a ticket, no gig is worth that," and "Oasis are taking the piss with those ticket prices." Some noted that the prices did not seem justified for potentially distant views, with one fan stating, "Nearly 200 quid for the cheapest standing #oasis ticket. If you want to be there and watch a gig, doesn’t feel like you’re watching miles away 200 quid min."

Oasis Live 27 is scheduled to include 42 shows across Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US, and Ireland. Ticket sales in the UK are set for September 25, 26, and 27, with fans receiving unique, non-transferable codes for specific sales windows.

The band has also issued a warning to fans about potential scammers impersonating the band or their ticket partners, urging vigilance and advising fans to only accept codes from the official email address [email protected].

The demand for the tour has been high, leading to the addition of four extra dates, including two at Knebworth. This follows their 2025 Live 25 tour, which reportedly sold out within minutes and generated significant revenue. The band, which split in 2009, reunited for the Live 25 tour, ending a public feud between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.
