Liam Gallagher Mocks Fans Over Expensive Oasis Tour Tickets

Liam Gallagher has continued to engage with fans expressing frustration over the high cost of Oasis tour tickets, posting a series of messages on X (formerly Twitter) where he joked about canceling the entire tour and urged critics to "stop moaning."

The backlash intensified when tickets for the band's 42-date 2027 European tour went on sale, with prices starting at £170.50 and extending to £571 for packages that include VIP access, hotels, and coach travel.

After initially telling fans to "stop moaning" on the first day of sales, Gallagher addressed the ticket prices again on Saturday. When a fan tweeted that the tickets were too expensive, Gallagher responded, "So I’ve heard." In another exchange, he remarked, "It’s ok when I’m not being bullied about codes or being called mean names coz apparently the tickets are expensive."

When fans expressed stress about trying to purchase tickets, Gallagher wrote, "I know but what can I do this is the fairest way to do things so I’ve been told I’m getting stressed out now coz your getting stressed it’s not on. Stressification for the nation."

In response to a fan suggesting he should be stressed, Gallagher sarcastically replied, "That’s mean of you I’ll tell you what let’s just cancel the whole god damn thing."

He also responded to criticism about the booking system, which required fans to register for a unique code to be assigned a specific purchase time. Many reported not receiving codes. When asked "liam wheres my code," he replied, "Behind you."

Gallagher also defended the pricing, with one supporter noting that £170 for Oasis, potentially for a final time, was not excessive when considering other concert costs. Gallagher agreed, adding that "quite a few more support acts to be announced but we don’t care about that though coz OASIS are greedy bumba f***ing clarts."

Oasis Live 27 is scheduled to play 42 shows across Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US, and Ireland. Demand for the tour has been high, leading to the addition of four extra dates, including two at Knebworth.

Last year, the band's Live 25 tour reportedly generated over £293 million, but also faced criticism for ticket prices after being subject to dynamic pricing. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) later found no evidence of dynamic pricing being used for that tour but advised Ticketmaster to improve transparency in ticket labeling and pricing.

The band has also issued a warning about potential ticket scams, advising fans to be vigilant and only accept codes sent from [email protected].
