Lexi Minetree paid homage to Reese Witherspoon by wearing a Stella McCartney gown previously worn by Witherspoon to the 2014 Met Gala for the UK premiere of the Prime Video show "Elle."

The bright magenta, strapless gown featured a small train and was originally worn by Witherspoon to the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion"-themed Met Gala. Minetree, 25, styled the archival dress with an updo and rosy makeup.

This is not the first instance of Minetree drawing from Witherspoon's wardrobe for the "Elle" promotional tour. For her debut on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Minetree wore the same Marc Jacobs dress Witherspoon donned for the 2001 premiere of "Legally Blonde."

Minetree and her stylist, Molly Dickson, have also drawn inspiration from the "Legally Blonde" character Elle Woods directly. For a New York City promotion event, Minetree wore a sequined Dolce & Gabbana dress, mirroring one from the film but in a pink hue.

Both actresses have portrayed the titular character Elle Woods at different points, with Minetree stepping into the role for the prequel series. Witherspoon famously originated the role in the 2001 film.
