Lewis Hamilton, the English racing driver, has stated he is a "happier man" due to the presence of his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, in his life. He made a rare public acknowledgment of the reality star on Thursday while on stage at Silverstone Circuit in anticipation of the upcoming British Grand Prix.
During an event on stage, a fan inquired about Hamilton's recent uplift in spirits, suggesting a girlfriend might be the cause. Hamilton responded affirmatively, with broadcaster David Croft interjecting a lighthearted remark about Kardashian's viral moment of taking a towel meant for another driver at the Monaco Grand Prix. Kardashian had previously been seen with Hamilton during the motorsport event in Monaco.
Hamilton, who is set to begin racing for Ferrari in 2025, first addressed his new team, calling Ferrari the "most iconic team of all time." He described the previous season as a "very tough and difficult period." However, he went on to praise his "amazing" and "welcoming" colleagues, noting that their "hard work" is now leading them "back to where [they] want to be."
He concluded his remarks by adding, "And of course, of course — Kim." This public nod follows a previous instance at the Monaco Grand Prix, where Hamilton blew a kiss from the podium toward Kardashian, who was filming him. The couple has reportedly been dating since at least February.
