Leslie Grossman and Billie Lourd Celebrate Their 'Work Wife' Bond
The 'American Horror Story' co-stars shared their deep friendship at the franchise's Season 13 premiere.
Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman, who have both starred in multiple seasons of "American Horror Story," expressed their strong bond at the show's Season 13 premiere. Lourd described their friendship as "the realest situation of all situations. This is literally top tier."
Grossman, who is 20 years Lourd's senior, echoed the sentiment, calling Lourd her "work wife, my life wife, my sister from another mister." She added, "I love Billie Lourd with all my heart and soul."
The actresses, who met on the set of the FX anthology series, speak almost daily. Lourd, who has two children with her husband Austen Rydell, joked that Grossman is often her first call when she's driving. Grossman said their friendship is "one of the greatest things this show has brought."
Both Grossman and Lourd expressed surprise at the longevity of "American Horror Story," with Grossman admitting she initially thought her first season would be a standalone experience. Lourd affirmed her continued commitment to the franchise, humorously stating she is "full avail."
The premiere event at the Chelsea Hotel also saw the return of several fan-favorite cast members, including Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe, and Sarah Paulson. The upcoming season is being promoted as a reunion of beloved characters from past installments.
